Acupuncture

Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture work by re-establishing balance and harmony within the body. Practitioners diagnose what is out of balance in a person’s body and seek to heal using a wholistic approach, treating the underlying cause of imbalance, not just the symptoms. This method results in complete, lasting, and safe form of healing.

Massage Therapy

Registered Massage Therapy offers a vast array of health benefits and is an excellent natural treatment option for pain management, rehabilitation from injury as well as a preventative measure to assist with general well being.

Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy helps to restore movement and function when someone is affected by injury, illness or disability. This is done through manual therapy, restoring movement, exercise, and education. With physiotherapy treatment, the goal is for clients to feel confident throughout their rehabilitation and achieve their goals of independence through all aspects of their life.

Private Pilates

A mind body exercise approach that emphasizes strength and flexibility while focusing on precision of movement and breath. Workouts are designed based on pilates principles to engage and strengthen the abdominal core, sculpt and tone your body, improve postural alignment, balance and coordination.

Jess began her wellness journey while studying environmental science and geography at the University of Victoria. She realized that much like the natural world we live in; our body systems are inextricably linked. This led her to study at the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in Victoria, where she graduated in August of 2021. Jess seeks to holistically integrate these systems in her approach to massage therapy. By considering mental, physical and spiritual health in her treatments, she hopes to promote mind-body integration in those with injuries, chronic pain and stress. Jess builds her treatments on a foundation of relaxation and incorporates therapeutic techniques to optimize her clients’ recovery. Outside of the clinic, Jess likes to spend time in nature (especially surfing or walking with her dog), snuggled up with a good book, connecting with friends and cooking.

Paulinka (she/her) has been working in the healthcare industry for about 10 years, doing everything from personal and group training to kinesiology and rehabilitation. Her passion for travel has had her working all over the world, and what she noticed was that preventative healthcare shared a lot of similarities no matter where it was practiced.
She graduated from the Ontario College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2020, and was practicing acupuncture in Toronto until moving to the island this year. Her love for nature has made it a very easy transition, and she believes that living closer in tune with the elements will strengthen her practice even more.
Paulinka’s approach to therapy is simple; she believes that the body has the innate ability to heal itself, although sometimes, there may be obstructions that prevent it from being able to do so. Through her experience, she believes that acupuncture has a way of bringing the body the tools it needs to get back into its natural balance.
